Wavesight Agri version – multispectral and multisensor in one flight:Pro S3 UT is pleased to introduce the Agri version of its Wavesight remotely piloted aircraft. Due to the flexibility of the Wavesight project, the Agri version has now been created, optimized for multispectral and visible analysis in a single flight, over large surfaces. The Agri version, based on the Wavesight platform, has been specially developed to solve some problems that are common in SAPRs on the market today:

  • Reduced coverage per flight: Wavesight Agri can map several square kilometers per flight
  • Need to change the sensor from one flight to another: the simultaneous presence of multiple sensors (up to 3, placed in separate and protected bays) allows with one flight to obtain mappings to the visible, thermal and multispectral. In particular, the Agri version mounts a visible and a 5-band multispectral sensor.
  • Reduced quality of mapping to the visible: the use of the new Sony UMC R10C (20Mpx APSc) equipped with 25mm fixed focal length optics, due to its build quality and generous sensor size, ensures high resolution and high quality mappings to the visible.
  • Reduced resolution and accuracy of the multispectral survey : the use of separate band sensors with sunlight compensation allows for calibrated and comparable results over time , with a a possibility of calculating different vegetative indices useful for estimating the degree of health for different types of crops.

Sensor equipment for the AGRI version:

Flight operations are particularly easy due to the total flight autonomy and advanced programming capabilities of the self-guidance system provided by the Canadian Micropilot.
