A concentration of technology in less than ten kilograms of weight thanks to its carbon frame, ready to take off even where there are no runways: this is our WaveSight, a remotely piloted aircraft that combines small footprint with very high performance. One of the most interesting features of WaveSight is precisely its takeoff, which takes place via an automatic catapult. In addition to releasing the operator from the burden of hand launching, it allows flight operations to be performed virtually anywhere, even in the absence of runways. Flight operations that can be prepared in times unimaginable until recently: WaveSight, in fact, can be prepared for flight in less than 5 minutes (even in just over 3 1/2 minutes, as can be seen in this explanatory video of ours ), with no possibility of assembly errors thanks to the absence of flying electrical connections between parts. And there is no possibility of error at departure either: there are two launch buttons, and our craft starts only if the precharge pressure reaches the necessary value. Long flight duration (up to 150 minutes guaranteed by ultra-high energy density LiPo batteries), wide operating temperature ranges (from -20°C to +50) and as many as 16 flight procedures already automatically configured thanks to 42 predefined parameters make WaveSight the perfect tool for long data acquisition campaigns for mapping, even large ones, with multiple sensors on board at the same time. In the SAR (Search and Rescue) version it can carry sophisticated multi-sensor gyro-stabilized chambers, with the ability to inspect large areas for missing persons.
