Venture Surveyor, has been approved by ENAC to the performance of critical specialized operations according to the standard S02 scenario. Venture Surveyor is to date the first APR equipped with Micropilot advanced autopilot, to be approved by ENAC to the performance of critical operations such as aeromaporation activities, industrial inspection and search and rescue. This important achievement was achieved through careful design work that characterizes the APR’s characteristics and performance. The scenario involves, in the case of the absence of sufficient buffers, the use of constraint cable. The unique features of the Ground Station (the use of which is always provided for in the operations manual) allow flights to be carried out in complete safety through the adoption of guided pre-takeoff and post-landing checklists, and the setting up and management of flight emergencies through the definition of standard risk containment procedures.
