EXPERIMENTATION WITH THE NATIONAL FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS BEGUN
Experimentation with the National Fire Department has entered into full swing. In fact, the Turin Provincial Command has begun the study and evaluation of Venture Surveyor and Wavesight SAPRs in order to integrate them into TAS and search and rescue operations. The experimentation, which will last six months, aims to provide indications about the characteristics of the SAPRs that best meet the operational needs of the Fire Department, as well as to define a protocol for their use in normal operational missions. MEETS PRO S3 AT EXPODRONE – ALBENGA
Pro S3 will be in Albenga (Sv) at Expodrone, the first trade fair event dedicated to the world of remotely piloted aircraft on the Riviera di Ponente. WAVESIGHT AND VENTURE ON DISPLAY AT LE BOURGET 2015
The Pro S3 family of UAVs on display in Paris at the "Le Bourget 2015" International Airshow. As with the 2011 and 2013 editions, and this year Pro S3 is showcasing its products at the " International Paris Airshow " held in Paris, Aeroposto Le Bourget from June 15-21. Wavesight and Venture are on display at the Avaana/OIS AT booth the Indian partner of Pro S3 . Both UAVs on display are configured in the search and rescue version. Wavesight mounts the Hawkeye 56x gimbal camera while Venture mounts the MicroCam D2 24x gimbal camera.
VENTURE SURVEYOR APPROVED FOR SPECIALIZED ENAC OPERATIONS
Pro S3 announces its partnership with North American Skypersonic, an innovative start-up engaged in the development of a new indoor drone concept. The combined capabilities of Giotto and Spherocopter to fly and roll have resulted in a new "smartdrone" concept. Giotto can be used for commercial operations such as industrial isteations, surveillance and logistics services. Characterized by different modes of operation it can move by flying or simply rolling. This innovative concept, in addition to minimizing if not completely eliminating the risk of failure in case of contact with fixed or moving obstacles, allows maximum flexibility of movement in environments
VENTURE SURVEYOR APPROVED FOR SPECIALIZED ENAC OPERATIONS
ENAC approved the execution of specialized non-critical operations for the APR Venture Surveyor. After analysis of the documentation submitted to ENAC, ENAC approved the use of Venture Surveyor for non-critical specialized operations according to the current SAPR use regulations.
FAA ISSUES EXEMPTION “333” TO A SAPR PRO S3
FAA, Federal Aviation Administration, the U.S. equivalent of ENAC, has issued Octane an SAPR built by Pro S3 a waiver from the ban on commercial operations, effectively allowing it to fly prior to future approval of the specific regulation. The exemption was granted to VSG Unmanned owner of an Octane SAPR, developed and built by Pro S3 and distributed in the U.S. by our partner VoltAerialRobotic. Octane, a multirotor platform in production until mid-2014 is now replaced by the more advanced Venture.
