Experimentation with the National Fire Department<\/strong> has entered into full swing. In fact, the Turin Provincial Command<\/strong> has begun the study and evaluation of Venture Surveyor and Wavesight SAPRs in order to integrate them into TAS and search and rescue operations. The experimentation, which will last six months, aims to provide indications about the characteristics of the SAPRs that best meet the operational needs of the Fire Department, as well as to define a protocol for their use in normal operational missions. The planned activities, in addition to dealing with the creation of a core of personnel trained in the use of SAPRs and their management interface, will focus on the definition and understanding of operational protocols for TAS and search and rescue missions The TAS (Topography Applied to Rescue) activity has always played a fundamental role in the process of acquiring information in post-emergency contexts, where the information available up to that point, becomes impovvisibly obsolete. The use of Venture Surveyor<\/a> and Wavesight<\/a> SAPRs is particularly advantageous due to their performance, which allows within a few hours, up-to-date, very high resolution mapping of the territory. Missing search missions constitutes the high-performance mission that is most capable of providing valuable operational support to field teams. In this case, Venture Surveyor<\/a> and Wavesight<\/a> SAPRs appropriately equipped with stabilized D2<\/a> diurnal turrets and combined Colibri<\/a> diurnal\/night turrets will be deployed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
